W/O U I'M NOTHIN

It's here~ Chanel's autumn 2010 collection, the Collection Les Contrastes de Chanel. Dropped by my fav Chanel counter (Robinsons @ Raffles city) with Esther e economist after werk tdy to pick out the ones I wanted. It rly is a lovely vvv wearable collection, alot of coral for the lips and cheek (LUV CORAL) and dark/translucent shades for the nails and eyes. Counter piks;

Here's what I did take home;

1. Joues Contraste blush in 13 Candy, a lovely lovely peach with a pinkish veil. Kind of like a bronzer. Candy is not LE, but the LE shades just didn't do it for me. I wasn't sold on Pink Explosion, which imo was quite a typical soft pink blush. What I rly love abt all JCs though, is the impeccable wild rose scent!! I'm going to be snortin this.
2. Glossimer in 144 Rose Dilemma. ZOMG fell in love with this IMMEDIATELY. The perfect pink, striking the balance between a pop and soft shade, with flecks of purplish blu and silver throughout that flawless formula. I die. It goes on krzly nice on its own, or creates an insane halo effect over other lip colours.
3. Le Vernis in 509 Paradoxal (grey with a vivid purple sheen) and 493 Jade Rose (nude with a purplish pink sheen). Both appear to be shimmers.

Srsly, nothing quite gets my make up heart going like Chanel. MAD LUV.

PARADISE

My Paradise jewel tone nailz tt I did for Commencement (it doesn't go with the gown whatsoever though, but prob the most over the top nails I have done):

Kind of perfect for xmas, thats half a year away.

TOPSHOP NAIL

Got around to checkin out Topshop Make Up tt launched here a few days back~ What I rly luv abt Topshop's make up line are the hipster colours and beyond kute packaging... Naturally I was super super excited about the nail lacquers. I'm not sure if all the colours were on shelf, but my picks were

1. Bee's Knees: Pastel yellow (creme)
2. Stolen Sapphires: Cobalt (creme)
3. Voltage: Black blue, a very dark ink with no royal undertones (creme)
4. Gypsy Night: Smoky jelly with holographic particles (sprkl)
5. Cloud: Grey (slight pearl)

I swatched them on Alexandro soon after and I'm rly quite pleased with the formula... Only Bee's Knee's had slight formulation issues- streaky, but solvable in 2 or 3 coats. Will def be going baq to the counter to check out moar of the colours!~!~ Other than the nail polish, I got a lip polish in Coral, that I alr love and will prob get it in either Cherry Picker or Rhubarb next! The lip polish has a tiny tiny mirror on the inside of the lid so u don't hv to whip out a mirror or go to the loo to apply it... Also got a free bag. PSYCHE.

COMFORTABLY NUMB

Today I wore my Topshop jumpsuit to go collect my graduation gown, miau~ It's a little baggy legged so I may send it to the tailors to get it tapered. Ended up shopping in town for awhile before a gr8 sushi conveyor belt dinner. Proceeded to get half high on half a pint of heineken after that. Must be my lack of conditioning these few weeks ever since work commenced.

p/s: trimmed my hair + bangs, think the hairdresser screwed up the thickness of my bangs (I love a thick bang, not the thinned out scraggly kind), majorly upset >:(

FR33DOM

So today I wore my favourite 3x wolf t... I went out to meet Sandhya, my schm8 fr ACJC and only my most favourite veterinarian in the world~ We had Thai @ Sunshine Plaza thnx to Jo's recommendation afew days baq.

Sandy was l8, because, you know, no one expects Karate Kid to be tt long of a movie. So no worries, I pride myself at being a lone shopper (I'm most efficient and also, most damaging that way). In the 0.5hr tt I waited, I kind of got a big bag fr Steve Madden. I got 2 pairs of shoes fr the sale~ In my defense they are both comfy and have different purposes haha. 1's for werk, and the other's more for partying/gg out I guess.

Shoe #1: The studded heel says Gucci fr. a few seasons baq, but the platform embellishment says Chanel (well sort of, just that Chanel's is of pearls). It'll go naicely w all my blue and pink shirts v(^_^)v

Shoe #2: Fell in luv w it the mo I saw it~ The insane platform, the sandal cut (no probability of blisters or death by toe squeezing), the faux semi precious stones, the gold studs, not to mention comfy enough for elong8ed periods of time (read: clubbin). Pity tt it isn't exactly corporate altho I can prob try for dress down Fridays... and pity also that it isnt a wedge. If not it'd be moar than perfect.

It's my first day of work tmr :s Wurried. Must remember to not be awkward. Or retarded. Both of which I am highly capable of. Time to go to bed! If there's anything worse that an awkward retard, it's an awkward retarded zombie.
